Quality Engineer

As a Quality Engineer, you will perform quality control checks on company products to ensure they meet required safety and quality standards. This role will require leading the quality function internal to Tomahawk Robotics to include configuration management and with external suppliers. 


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline
  • Demonstrated related technical experience: e.g. Quality, Engineering, Integration & Test, or Manufacturing
  • A minimum of 5 or more years of experience directly managing a Quality Engineering or Quality Organization
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, ISO9001 standards, manufacturing methods, process improvement, and documentation
  • Experience with configuration management, receiving inspection, and inventory control 
  • This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a background investigation

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Supply Chain Quality experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Capable of working independently and dynamically with minimum oversight with multiple and/or changing priorities

Responsibilities Include

  • Leading quality assurance throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Driving continual process and product improvement ensuring product and process integrity, leading to customer satisfaction
  • Provide hands-on failure analysis on products to determine root cause and corrective action 
  • Perform inspections across all stages of production 
  • Ensuring configuration management integrity of products and data management 
  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards 
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly 
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
