Datalinks
Bridge the gap from here to there
Kinesis Interoperability
In the same way that Kinesis is agnostic to unmanned systems architectures or platform vendors - Kinesis is also agnostic to the communications datalink(s) connecting things together. Datalinks come in a wide variety of communications technologies and yet few are practical for unmanned systems applications. Read on for some curated solutions that are excellent choices depending on the payload capacity (size, weight, and power) of the unmanned system you have in mind.
Kinesis works with practically all modern datalinks but our own MxC family of datalinks is a great choice for nano/microscale systems. Have more payload and/or require a more robust link? Take a look at the Persistent Systems MPU5 datalink below which is our preferred option for tactical mesh networks.
MxC family
Tomahawk Robotics has extended the Kinesis common control system with a family of micro scale datalinks that seamlessly integrate with the leading tactical UAVs and UGVs to create a suite of personal ISR solutions that can be easily tailored to the mission at hand. Pick your unmanned system, strap the corresponding MxC to your kit, and deploy with the knowledge that your personal ISR system is secure, AI enhanced, and integrated across the tactical network.
The family of MxC datalinks is built for the growing collection of platforms that are far too small to carry a full-size tactical radio. There is an MxC variant optimized for every mission with options spanning choice of frequency band, multiple RF module vendors, and integrated battery power for standalone applications. Persistent Systems
Built to create powerful, secure networks anywhere, the MPU5 unites all your critical data sources in real time giving you and your team the confidence to make difficult decisions in the heat of the moment.
The MPU5 is Tomahawk Robotics' preferred tactical Mobile Ad Hoc Networking (MANET) datalink of choice. Data, video, voice, and a fully integrated Android computer system makes the MPU5 the world’s first "smart radio" that is also uniquely able to run Kinesis onboard when paired with Persistent Systems' RDC.
