JUNIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will be designing and developing the future of robotic command and control systems.  Tomahawk Robotics is working with the world's best drone manufacturers, AI developers, and leading-edge robotics operators to create the world's first universal common robotic control system.  The hardware you develop will be the human Soldier's connection to the robots being used to keep them out of harm's way and give them an advantage on the battlefield.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
  • 0 – 2 years of experience
  • This position may require a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to read schematics and work with electrical design tools such as Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD
  • Experience and/or coursework in hardware design, DC/DC power regulation, control algorithm/compensator design/implementation, sensor interfacing, and overall robotic hardware system debugging and integration
  • Understanding of board-level communication buses such as SPI, I2C, and UART
  • Experience with electrical circuits and PCB design, fabrication, and debugging
  • Hands-on experience with soldering, cable or board debugging
  • Familiarity with lab test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers
  • Self-starting, determined attitude, with a focus on solving tough problems

Responsibilities Include

  • Perform electrical engineering design, including the development of schematics, board layout, interconnect diagrams, and power budgets
  • Reworking, soldering, and debugging printed circuit boards
  • Participate and contribute to technical design reviews and audits of design products
  • Ability to work independently under the supervision of others
  • Provide regular reporting of progress and status
