Technical Artist

As a Technical Artis you will collaborate closely with the Lead Programmer on technical resources and preparing digital files of finished artwork to run efficiently without aesthetic degradation on our product line. You will develop and apply advanced graphic design concepts, techniques, and standards in a highly technical engineering environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/Media Art and Animation or equivalent work experience
  • 3D asset creation and creative design 
  • Portfolio demonstrating your ability to build professional quality, optimized 3D game assets 
  • 2+ years’ experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 
  • Working knowledge of UE Blueprints and connection to C++ modules 
  • Must be a US Citizen 
  • COVID-19 vaccine-mandated employer 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in graphic design 
  • Experience in concept art 
  • Experience in VFX 
  • Experience creating fully imagined environments 
  • Experience of connecting rigged 3d models with UE4 environment and physics engine 
  • Experience using Blender, Substance Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite or equivalent software 
  • Experience optimizing 3D assets for use on mobile devices 

Responsibilities Include

  • Candidate will work closely with engineers to create a unique and accurate simulation environment 
  • Create photo-realistic assets using full production pipeline including Modeling, UVing, Texturing and rendering 
  • Be able to follow and elevate existing art direction while staying within technical limits 
  • Enhance player experience though believable and detailed environments
