Quality Assurance Manager

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead our quality programs, partner with production teams, and successfully deliver reliable, high-tech solutions for customers.  This role will require administering the quality function internal to Tomahawk Robotics and with external suppliers.  

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with 4+ years of relevant quality experience
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, ISO9001 standards, manufacturing methods, process improvement and documentation
  • Experience with configuration management, receiving inspection and inventory control
  • Motivated, hands-on attitude with strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to creatively address and solve problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with our technical team and potentially our customers
  • Positive attitude and works well in a team environment with mixed engineering disciplines
  • Must be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 years of mechanical design experience
  • Hands-on experience with robots or electromechanical systems
  • Experience optimizing parts for manufacturing and assembly
  • Basic understanding of circuit card design
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products 

Responsibilities Include

  • Establish and lead the Quality function including the Quality Management System
  • Define and lead receiving and inspection activities
  • Lead the configuration management discipline
  • Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards
  • Interface with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers to deliver reliable, high-tech solutions
  • Subcontractor/vendor management – lead quality assessments and inspections of vendor processes including source inspection
  • Collaborate with team members to support programs and proposals
