Program Financial Analyst

As a Program Financial Analyst, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and Program Managers to manage financial actions and performance for the various programs being executed by Tomahawk Robotics. This includes programs being executed directly for the US Government, Allied Governments, and major industry partners. In addition to program duties, you will support various functions within the Finance function with high visibility to company leadership.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study
  • Experience working as a Financial Analyst in direct support of defense programs
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Must be a citizen of the US
  • Tomahawk Robotics is a COVID-19 vaccine mandated employer

Desired Qualifications

  • CPA a plus
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting 
  • Experience in managing AR/AP functions
  • Experience in Defense / Government contracting and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains/AX

Responsibilities Include

  • Candidate will work closely with Program Managers to accurately track financial performance indicators related to DoD programs of record
  • Draft, review, submit and analyze subcontractor quotes, POs, and invoices regarding production and repair support, rolling up costs to overall program financials
  • Provide timely analysis and updates enabling the Program Manager to make value-add decisions related to applicable programs
  • Develop best practices to enable efficient capture of financial and performance data related to programs
  • Assist in compiling monthly financial reports, tackle certain day-to-day accounting functions, and interface with outside CPA firm, auditors, and government contacts
