Information Technology System Administrator

As The Information Technology (IT) System Administrator will manage and direct the company’s IT operations, ensuring the department provides an efficient and effective technical support service. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all IT-related systems, and their maintenance and security, at two office locations. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Three years of relevant work experience required
  • Azure and O365 fundamental certifications
  • Ability to lift and move computers and IT equipment for setup
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain DoD Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical support experience in iOS, macOS, Linux, Android, and Windows mixed environments
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 (users, Exchange, licensing, Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
  • Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Responsibilities Include

  • Monitor and maintain all computer systems and networks
  • Install, configure, and test hardware and software components
  • Provide IT support to users in person, by phone, and by email
  • Implement and oversee the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information and maintain IT security measures
  • Manage user accounts and access rights
  • Manage IT expenses and recommend the purchase of equipment when needed
  • Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
  • Deploy and maintain Azure Applications and Networking Services to support growth into the cloud
  • Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
  • Research products and innovative technologies to increase the efficiency of business and operations
  • Manage and respond to escalated stakeholder inquiries; be the escalation point for hardware/software faults and technical and application problems
  • Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format
