As Corporate Security Officer, you will be responsible managing, administering and coordinating the industrial security program and other security activities to ensure compliance with Department of Defense, government and company security policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or a related field and/or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years as a FSO, ITPSO, CSSO, CPSO with safeguarding 
  • Must be able to obtain a clearance 
  • Must be a US Citizen 
  • COVID-19 vaccine mandated employer 

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience 
  • 6 years’ experience in the application of NISPOM requirements 
  • Experience leading or participating in Security Vulnerability Assessments 
  • Active Secret Security Clearance  
  • COMSEC Experience 
  • Experience with DISS, NISS and e-QIP 
  • Proficiency in MS Office 

Responsibilities Include

  • Process and review personnel security clearances and maintain all security documentation, files, clearance and suitability rosters in accordance with government requirements 
  • Maintain a working relationship with DCSA or other Federal Agencies and each contract’s security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances or suitability determinations 
  • Oversee Managed IT Service Provider 
  • Utilize DCSA’s NISS system to upload and update all Facility Clearance and contract information 
  • Advise personnel of their reporting requirements, both personal/administrative and compliance and incident-related reports 
  • Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, Emergency Action Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan 
  • Establish/ Maintain Insider Threat Program 
  • Conduct and track annual training and self-inspections 
  • Complete and submit Visitor requests and Visitor Authorization Letters 
  • Analyze and evaluate operations to identify risks and/or opportunities for improvement 
  • Responsible reporting requirements, both personal/administrative and compliance/incident-related reports
